Chain Clamps
Stevens Engineering Chain Clamps are a unique way to hold any round work piece on a machining center. Use in combination with our Vee-Blocks to clamp a wide range of sizes. Shown below there are three styles of Chain Clamp : Standard Duty, Heavy Duty, and Heavy Duty - Long Stroke.
Standard Duty

Heavy Duty - Long Stroke
kit P/N HD20149L (for chain lengths over 60")
For large worpieces that require over 60" of chain, the amount of stretch starts to diminish the clamping force of the cam-lock due to the fixed amount of stroke. With the 'Heavy Duty Long Stroke Clamp' there is .750" of stroke to accomodate much longer chains and has the same clamping force as the HD20149. It is also useful for parts which are thin-walled or otherwise easily deflected.
